New in Personio: Self Enrollment for Training Sessions

Dear Community,

Have you ever thought how great it would be if employees could choose and manage their own learning paths within Personio and keep track of their own courses and sessions? We have you covered! In our redesigned Training section in the Performance & Development area, you can now enable employees to play a more active role in their own development.

These are the new functionalities available under Performance & Development > Training:

  • Administrators and employees with edit rights for the Training section can now open training sessions to self enrollment, allowing employees to sign up autonomously. If necessary, they can also limit the session's capacity.

  • In the Course catalog tab, employees can view all available sessions, choose the one they want to join and sign up with a click.

  • For better tracking, employees can see all their upcoming sessions in the Planned courses tab, where they can also cancel their attendance if needed. Past sessions are listed under the Training history tab.

That's great :) 

It would be great if we (the admins) could generate a link to share with employees to sign up for the courses we want to suggest. 

Likewise, to be able to share these courses or assign employees according to their office, department or team. 

I also miss being able to assign a location for face to face training or online training with a link to connect to. 

In order to centralize the information it would be very useful if the sessions would appear on the dashboard for registration and in tasks when they have been registered.
