We received lots of questions from those in attendance and while we were able to answer many of those live, here’s a few that we were not able to get to (click on show content below):

Q: If someone enters 15 sick leave days for the future. Will it trigger?

A: Yes, it should trigger each entry. If the absence time is requested together (e.g January 1-4) it will trigger once. If its separate days, it will trigger each day (e.g. January 1, January 4)

Q: Regarding the "an employee is updated": when someone approves the probationary period they usually receive a higher salary. The changes are scheduled as of hire date - so Nothing is going to be changed afterwards. Do we, HR, get a notification about this as well? For payroll and so on, we would weed the reminder.

A: This will be covered with the new date based trigger events, but we do not have an “integration” to Payroll yet.

Q: For the absence days exceeds a limit, can it also be a different timeframe than 365 days? e.g., in NL we only need a notification if someone has been sick for longer than 14 consecutive days, not in total in the past year.

A: Yes that should be possible!

Q: Is it possible to use it for bonus approval? Is it possible to receive notifications in Slack? not e-mail

A: Not possible, but feel free to share it our ideation section via the following link:

Q: Can you delete a workflow if yes, what happens with the data? If not, can you archive it somewhere? - When the workflow is inactive, you can delete it, and you will also lose the data. If you keep it as “inactive” you can check the data anytime

A: Yes you can delete workflows. All completed workflows remain in the Activity tab, but currently running workflows will be canceled.

Additionally, feel free to add your question to this thread. Our team will be keeping an eye on it and will provide assistance. To dig deeper, have a look at our Help Center article and in case you want to share feedback, you can send it to us directly via the Feedback button in the automations section.
