Community Meet & Greet šŸ¤

šŸŽ‰ Welcome to your HR haven! šŸš€

Let's kick off the party by getting to know each other better. Iā€™ll start:

My name is Mohamed, one of your Community Managers. Iā€™m based in London but work with my teammates Selina, Lena, Lina, Daniele, Lucie, and Melissa to make sure everything is running smoothly around here. šŸ› ļø

My job is to make sure our community members get the most out of being here. Iā€™ll be chatting with lots of you virtually, meeting you in person at events, and answering your community-related questions! šŸ˜„

Now, itā€™s your turn! Share a bit about yourself ā€“ the stage is all yours! šŸŽ‰

Need some inspiration? Take a peek at our cheeky questions or let your imagination run wild!

šŸŒŽ Where's home base for you or your company?

šŸ‘©ā€šŸ’¼ What's your role in the HR dream team?

šŸ’” Which HR topics light up your world?

šŸš€ What sparked your interest in joining the Personio Community?

šŸŽ‰ And hey, don't forget to sprinkle in a fun fact about yourself!

Can't wait to hear your stories ā€“ let the fun begin! āœØ

Cheers,
Moe and your Voyager Community Team šŸš€

Hello Personio Community,

My name is JuanM and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you. As the Head of Customer Engagement, I lead and oversee our amazing Community Management and Customer Events teams. My focus is to ensure that this space thrives as a hub of vibrant discussions, shared ideas, meaningful connections, and exciting events.

First and foremost, I'm here to listen, engage, and learn alongside all of you. Your insights and perspectives are what make this community truly special, and I'm excited to see the great things that will unfold as we continue to share and learn from each other.

So, whether you're a seasoned contributor or just joining us for the first time, I encourage you to dive into conversations, share your thoughts, and be a positive driving force. This is your platform, and your voice is important. I'm excited to already see many thought-provoking topics, past and upcoming events, and opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals who share your passions. Additionally, our community and events team will continue to bring you meaningful events both online and in person across the different locations where Personio is represented. Keep an eye out for more of these announcements in the months to come!

This isn't just a community; it's a dynamic space where your ideas can take flight and where relationships can flourish. So, let's continue to make this space buzz with energy, inspiration, and innovation. Feel free to reach out to me personally with your thoughts or ideas on how we can make this community even better. Together, we can create a thriving environment that fosters growth, learning, and connections that last.

I'm looking forward to connecting with each of you and witnessing the magic that unfolds here!

Hey all!

Iā€™m a Technology Partnership Manager at Make, the visual no-code workflow automation tool. Personio is one of the Key Technology Partnerships that Iā€™m responsible for. Weā€™ve only recently launched the integration with Personio and already weā€™re seeing great things being achieved!

I work remotely from home in a sleepy little village in rural Bedfordshire - think cows, sheep, thatched cottages and pubs and youā€™ve got the picture (I can see the pub from my office window). Central London is around two hours away.

Hit me up if you have any questions about the Personio and Make combination. Youā€™ll find me lurking mainly in the Integrations & Workflows category and answering questions there!

Hi everyone! šŸ˜Š I'm Sandra, a Senior People Ops Specialist at Superside. I joined Superside in 2021, and I'm currently working remotely from Nigeria.

One of my favorite features in Personio is the on/offboarding workflows, which have been a lifesaver in helping me stay organized and on top of pending tasks.Ā

Apart from work, I enjoy watching movies and doing anything that brings out my inner child (e.g trampolines). Looking forward to connecting with all of you, learning, and sharing ideas!

Hey community,Ā šŸ¤—

I'm Lou and I work for the e-learing platform Masterplan.com. We have an office in Berlin and in DĆ¼sseldorf. I live in Cologne and work remotely or from our DĆ¼sseldorf office. šŸ¢

Iā€™mĀ a People Partner atĀ Masterplan since June 2023 and in addition to my administrative tasks such as contract matters, payroll and the like, my focus is also company affiliation. So I plan regular team events, take care of office management or support the planning of workshops.Ā šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

I've only been working with Personio since June and have joined the community to learn more about the software so that I can use it to its full potential. I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas.Ā šŸ¤“

Hi @LouĀ and welcome to our community! šŸŽ‰ We are excited to have people like you here and we hope you will enjoy connecting with other HR professionals and other specialists in the field.Ā

Since you are here, feel free to check our newest Badge Announcement here and our Community Discussion for this week 🙂 Would love also to hear your thoughts on this topicĀ as well!Ā

Ā

Have fun exploring the community and looking forward to seeing more from you!Ā

Linda

Hi there!Ā

Good to see that many great people here! I am Juan, People Manager of Conren Tramway, a growing real state company who actually promote and develope really nice office buildings! I amĀ based in Barcelona (yes! I know i am lucky!) and I am launching Personio to my fellow colleagues in few weeks hoping the tool help me to focus on more added value topics! I am interested in all HR related topics, as I have become an HR generalist and i am actually alone in my role here, so everything will be in use sooner or later! 🙂 Andā€¦Ā something funā€¦Ā COVID lock downs made me learn how to read tarotā€¦Ā it is a great thing to self-reflection and monopolize the afternoons with friends!Ā

Ā

Hey all!Ā

My name is Luc, HR Assistant at i3D.net. We are a low latency performance hosting company mainly focused on the games industry. Weā€™re located in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Iā€™ve been with the company a little over 2 years and weā€™ve been working with a very oldschool HR tool called AFAS. Weā€™ve grown a lot over the last few years and we were getting more and more frustrated with the system we were using and the manual handlings we had to do.Ā

The HR team was just me and the HR manager in the beginning but weā€™ve grown and gotten a slightly bigger team now, we do everything HR related ourselves with some help from our mother company Ubisoft. Hopefully Personio wil become our ā€˜one-stop-shopā€™! Weā€™re mainly looking to automate a LOT of our workflows, looking forward to working with Personio and having interesting conversations and discussions in the community!Ā

Any tips with the implementation are welcome as Iā€™ve just kickstarted that :)Ā

Ā

Hello Everyone 🙂 I am Tamara Here is my LinkedIn: Ā https://www.linkedin.com/in/tamara-casasa-pavlovskaia/

My reason for joining this community is making my direct reports life easier, by finding solutions/and proposing system enhancements that will make them have less manual work.Ā

As part of the business these efficiencies will translate into savings.Ā

Ā

Happy to haveĀ a 30 minute catch up, about how you have automated Personio process through third party tools or own created programs.Ā

Hello everyone! šŸ‘‹šŸ¼šŸ˜Š

My name is Nayara, I'm 23 years old, and I liveĀ inĀ Ingolstadt, a city close to Munich. Currently, I'm in the final stages of my Bachelor's degree in "International Management," which I'm also studyingĀ in Ingolstadt.

About a month ago, I joined Personio and I'm thrilled to now support the Customer Events team as a working student, alongside @JuanMĀ , @TamaraĀ , @Laura WĀ , and @Laura Weihrich. šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

To help you get to know me a bit better, here are some interesting facts about myself:

  • Traveling is my passion, and I enjoy exploring different cultures and countries. āœˆļøšŸŒ
  • During high school, I spent a year abroadĀ in Canada šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦, specifically on Vancouver Island in the beautiful city of Victoria, where I was living with a host family and attendedĀ a Canadian high school. I absolutely fell in love with the country and its people šŸ˜.
  • Reading is another great passion of mine, but just as much, I love buying books. Thatā€™sĀ why about half of my books are still unread on the shelf, oops! šŸ™ˆšŸ«

I'm really looking forward to getting to know all of you and collaborating with you to create and enjoy our community events together. šŸ„³

Howdy folks!Ā šŸ¤

My name is Mohamed and Iā€™m the newest member of the Personio Community team. So excited to be here and really enjoying learning about this community - looking forward to getting to know you all more!Ā

I am originally half Ethiopian and half Somali, but spent 14 years inĀ Florida and 8 years before that in DubaiĀ šŸļø.Ā

The part of my job Iā€™m looking forward to most is talking to and learning more about members of the community! I know very little about the day-to-day lives of HR pros and have already been fascinated by what Iā€™ve learned thus far.Ā

Fun fact: I used to be fluent in Arabic, Somali, and Amharic. From the age of 12, I started learning English and, sadly, itā€™s taken over my brain! I can now understand most Somali conversations, some Arabic ones, and very little in Amharic. However, I now say ā€œyā€™allā€ a lot so thatā€™s somethingĀ šŸ˜‚

Have a lovely week, yā€™all!Ā šŸ¤
