Hi ,

When I change the hours of an employee from say 32 hours to 28 hours , and I need to adjust their accrual policy .There is only the option to change this from the hire date /start of an entitlement period ..However the change needs to be applied from the date they changed their hours .

Is it possible to do this ? Or has anyone found a way around to be able to do this ?

On the moment, it is not possible to assign an accrual policy on a custom date. As you already mentioned, accruals can only be granted since the hire date or the beginning of the year. A suggestion for improvement has already been posted by another user on our ideation area:

As you can see, our product team is planning to release this functionality 🥳. Make sure to vote for the idea in order to be informed whenever it is released!

Until the functionality is available, you can grant the accrual policy for the next period and undertake a manual adjustment of the employees’ entitlement for this year. You can find details on how to undertake a manual adjustment in the following help center article:
