Hello community,

we have a new location in Italy.

Does anyone in this community have experience setting up Italian statutory leave entitlements and working hours in Personio?

I am looking forward to your feedback!

Best regards!

Maike

Hi @Maike,

Welcome to the Personio Community, we are thrilled to see you here :confetti_ball: .
It’d be great if you can get an insight from Italian users but in the meantime maybe I can help 😃 Do you have any specific concern having in consideration their contract conditions: the working hours they should have, the breaks, the holiday allowance and so on? Maybe I can share with you some best practices depending on those conditions.

I’m looking forward to hearing back from you!

Best Regards,

Zulema

Hi Zulema,

Many thanks for your response.

I would like to know how I can clearly set up the following vacation and the specified hours in Personio. So that our Italian colleagues not only have an overview of their vacation, but also know how many hours are still available to them.

Employees: 22 days per year, plus 32 hours

Additional permits:
0 – 2 years of seniority: 0 hours
2 – 4 years of seniority: 28 hours
Over 4 years of seniority: 56 hours.

The additional hours are set by the government to go to the doctor, for example.

Thanks,

Maike
