Blackout Dates for Annual leave Request

Hi, is it possible to block a particular team from booking annual leave on certain dates? For example, last week of each quarter due to critical business requirements. 
I’ve read on another article that you could add a new absence type to block those dates and when the employee tries to book time the supervisor will get an overlapping leave flag as part of the request. However if we create a new absence type to block the dates, the employee will show as being out of office on the calendar in Personio and also integrations with Slack.

Hi @mpunch, 

Thank you for your community question! You’re right that will be the Work Around, unfortunately we don’t have another Work Around.  In order to not show this Absence type in the Out today widget, you can turn it off in Settings > Company Calendar > relevant Absence type >  deselect this Absence type.  Currently it is not possible to exclude certain Absence types from being transferred to Slack. You can search for a post in our ideation area and to vote for it, in case another user has shared this suggestion for improvement. In case you don’t find any idea that describes your need, you can always post a new idea:
