Hi all,
I’m following the steps on this page to integrate the Personio calendar into GCal. It seems to be importing and reflecting the Personio calendar at the time of link generation, but afterwards it doesn’t update automatically to reflect any further changes on the Personio calendar. i.e. the calendar is only correct up to the point of importing.
Anyone know how to fix this, or know how regularly it syncs itself with the Personio calendar?

As you are saying importing, did you import the calendar events or add a new calendar via URL?
When adding the iCal links to Google Calendar as URL it should appear as separate calendar which is synced automatically.

I added it as a URL - the Personio guide mentioned specifically that it would sync automatically to the new calendar, but it isn’t doing so!

After some testing, I’ve figured out that it does update - just really slowly at once a day, which causes some issues. Any idea on how to speed this syncing cycle up?

I checked internally and got this response:
Personio sends hourly updates to the iCal database. Depending on which calendar you use, the data is pulled in different time windows. Google, for example, randomly pulls updates from the iCal URLs every few hours. Unfortunately, we can't influence that.
Have you already taken a look at the calendar integration? When it comes to absence information, this would be a faster way.
