Hello
I’ve noticed recently that approved request can be deleted by either HR, line manager but also an employee 😲

 

Is there a way to set the system so only HR will be able to delete the request? so the employee and / or line manager will have to send a request to do so. 

Only HR should have the ability to cancel requests to manage the absence records

Employees who have Proposal Rights for a certain Absence type are not able to delete an absence period which has already been approved, provided that there is an approval process set up for this Absence type. You can check the given Access rights under Settings > People > Employee roles > Access Rights > Absences. The Approval Process is set up under Settings > Workflows > Approvals fcorresponding absence type].

Employees can only delete absence periods, if these have not yet been approved, or if they have an Admin role or Edit rights for the Absence type.
