Hi,

My name is Laura and I am part of the People and Operations team at Orbem here in Munich, we use Personio and now we have one question regarding doctors appointments, I would like to get some help from you.

Here is the question: How are all-day doctor's appointments legally regulated? Are they considered sick leaves or personal days?

Thanks a lot :)

Dear @Laura Betancur,

Welcome to the Personio Community 🥳, we are super happy to see you around!

Thank you for sharing this question with us. Since the topic you are posting is regarding legal regulations, I would recommend contacting any legal entity inside your company. Such legal regulations depend on many aspects such as country or region, organization type and so on. As a software company, we can definitely assist you regarding how to implement a certain regulation in your Personio account. Nevertheless, we are not qualified to give you legal advice.

If you let me know some aspects about your company (country, region, size), I can tag some users who might have some best practices about the topic.

Thank you for understanding!

In case you haven’t done so yet: it would be lovely if you could take two minutes to say Hi and introduce yourself here: it’s a great way to get started in the Community & meet other HR Professionals!

If you have any questions about Personio or ideas to share with the Community, feel free to create a new topic anytime. We are always listening 😊.

I wish you an amazing day 🌸.

Best,

Andrea
