Template document

Hi! i recently started to add new templates documents and i have all the time the same problem: the format inside the document its not the same, for example if my document has 3 pages and on the last one i only have like 3 lines of text, the template creates me a 2 page document (with all the info, nothing its missing but its cutting some blank lines that i need to have them in the document. Any suggestion? Or is a specific font and size that i need to have all templates write with so the size & place on the page have to remain the same? Thank you!
