I would love it if it were possible to have certain leave types where it is not possible to put in a request that would lead to a negative integer.

 

For example TOIL - perhaps more a UK term but in essence when someone accrues additional time off in Leiu of payment as a result of doing overtime or similar.

However, as it is time off in return for having typically already done something it is typically something that will need to be a + integer that someone draws down from.

 

I suppose like a debit card - rather than a credit card.

You must have some ‘balance’ on the account if you want to debit from it - but you cannot get overdrawn.
