Dear all,

I’m trying to achieve a scenario for 2024 where the vacation days allocated for employees are 26, and they are allocated via an absence type - Vacation Days with an Accrual policy of 26 days. There are also carry-over days from 2023.

The accrual policy cannot be modified as it is already in place for all employees and we need the historical data.

We realized that we need to add 1 more vacation day to all employees for 2024.

What is the best practice to grant to all employees one extra day just for 2024 (this rule will not apply in 2025).

Thanks and regards,

Bogdan

Hi @Bogdan,

In this case you can create a second Accrual policy with an extra day (so in total 27 days) and assign this Accrual policy in the profiles of the employees with “ Start of current period”.

Step 1: Create new Accrual policy with 27 days.

Step 2: Assign new Accrual policy in profile of employee. Go to profile of relevant employee > relevant Absence type > Change policy > select the new Accrual policy and select “ Start of current period”.

Here you will find more information regarding: Create accrual policies

Thank you so much for the resolution.
