Hi everyone!I’m fairly new to the world of HR, and just finished implementing Personio! Was wondering if anyone had any tips to share with me regarding introducing Personio to their fellow employees? I have all the resources from Personio, such as this article: https://support.personio.de/hc/en-us/articles/209984985 but I’m more wondering about what people have done (the messaging or announcements) to get everyone behind adopting a new system. In my past experience, people are quite resistant to change, unless you can package it in a way that they feel like it will benefit them, so I’m curious to how everyone else has done it. I only get one chance to introduce this system / get everyone on board, and I’d like for the transition to go smoothly!Any tips are welcome! Thanks!Chantal
Hi everyone, We invited all our members yesterday and they all received the mail. But today while willing to open the mail and finish registration, the mail wasn't anymore in the inbox. Then I tried to resend an invitation mail again, but they do not receive it anymore. Does anybody know how I can invite our colleagues now? Thanks a lot for your help.Kind regards,Jonathan

Dear Community,Many of you may feel the same way as we do. Sad, shocked and helpless because of the war in Ukraine. This is all quite understandable in light of the terrible events that are unfolding. Our thoughts are with all those affected and we #StandWithUkraine. Perhaps, you have people in your teams who are directly affected or may be worried about their friends and family. Therefore, it is now your task as HR professionals to support your employees in this situation as best as possible. We hope that we can help some of you by sharing our initiatives below, and we especially look forward to hearing more ideas from your side, too. How do you deal with this issue? As an HR Professional, what challenges are you facing that you need help with? At Personio we have 14 colleagues who were born in Ukraine and/or are Ukrainian citizens, and 25 colleagues with Russian roots. There are also several colleagues who have partners or friends in these countries. All of them are equally worried
Hello,I have been searching for tools to manage my companies and I came in touch with Personio. And after signing up. I discovered there was a lot of resources and things to cover. Can I have a full illustration and how I can start using the tools to manage my business? And do Personio have a software or mobile application better suited for working. Thank you,John (Alpha).
Hi Community 👋 I initially shared this as a workaround to a fellow Personio Community member in a comment of an existing post and @Daniele suggested it might be more visible as an individual post in case others find it useful. So here it is :)The described steps below cover the topic on how to enter something like "Supervisor notes" for regular one on ones, additional comments etc. with custom access to all relevant stakeholders (supervisor, HR, employee etc) while also having the historical records for past enties via the "Custom reports" sharing option. 1. In employee profile we create a section for supervisor notes. This section can contain text boxes, date when the note is written, the name of the person who wrote it, etc. 2. Edit access to this section is given to the supervisor only for example, this should be customized through roles. For any others you feel are needed like HR or the employee you can assign view rights or, if you choose so, hide it completely. 3. Supervi
Currently, in order to share information with an external collaborator you have to create a profile like any other employee and rescind their permissions. It would be very useful if these people had a different profile with basic information (email, name of the contact person, phone number, person within the organization with whom they are working directly...) in the documents section the collaboration agreement and a section for service costs instead of payroll. This would imply that they would not appear in the organization chart, or that the system would count them as one more employee in the total number of employees because it leads to confusion.
Dear Community,The year is coming to an end and everyone is currently cleaning up their desk, whether live or digitally. In this post, we have summarized a few typical tasks and updates for the turn of the year, so that you can start the 2022 optimally and completely relaxed. Feel free to post your typical end-of-year to-dos with a short description below! :) The end-of-year overviewWe'll give you a few tips and tricks on how to easily pull year-end info from Personio via custom reports:Vacation balance – Create Vacation AccrualsIn Custom Reports, create a Point in Time report, select 31. December as the Custom Date, and add at least the "Vacation - Account Balance" table column. (If necessary also the e-mail, see below). This way you will receive the number of vacation days, which are not assigned up to 31.12. yet.If you have a rule that only a certain number of vacation days, e.g. 5, may be taken into the new year, you can adjust the account balances accordingly. To do this, export t
Gender diversity: Best practices in Recruitment and Employer brandingBlog Recruitment Female Talent Diversity Employer branding
IntroductionGender diversity is an important topic on today's HR agendas. A recent survey conducted by Glassdoor revealed that 76% of candidates consider diverse workforce a valuable component when they apply for a job. Furthermore, by diminishing biases in recruiting, companies have access to a bigger pool of talent, which ultimately would reduce the effects of the war of talent. The term “war for talent” – referring to the lack of skilled employees on the labor market – has become more and more prominent in Europe over the last couple of years. According to a McKinsey study from 1997, this war for talent would become not only a strategic business challenge but also a critical driver of corporate and financial performance. In the recession following the dot-com bubble, it was assumed that the war for talent would be over or at least recede – however, quite the contrary became reality. Because of the strengthening economy and the development of many former third-world countries, the wa
Is it in the future also possible to have another authenticator app that works for MFA/2FA for Personio?
Hi! My coworker is working with a new mobile phone. This means that we should also be able to install the MFA/2FA authenticator on this mobile phone. For Personio we've noticed it is a bit more difficult to get the authentication working on her new mobile phone. We also noticed that it is only possible to log in, in Personio, with the authenticator app of Google. Will it the future also be able to log in via the authentication app of Microsoft? And do you perhaps have a instruction how my collegue could have the log in of Personio in her authenticator app on her new mobile phone up and running again? For example, other applications where you need to log in with an authenticator app, you have a QR-code.
Dear Community,Time for another round of Frequently Asked Questions! The previous FAQ article was a special on the topic of people workflow automation. Now it's back to general topics that our colleagues in Service have discussed most with our customers. These are the top three questions from the past month - to read the answers, all you have to do is click on “Show Content”: Can I upload documents for multiple employees at once? Yes, you can! Under Imports, select file type Employee documents (Multiupload). Important for a successful upload is the name of the files, so that they can be assigned correctly. For documents to be assigned to the right employee profile automatically, including the document category and date, use one of the following formats for the document file name: Firstname_Lastname_Category_ddmmyyyy or Firstname_Lastname_Category_dd.mm.yyyy or Personalnummer_Firstname_Lastname_Category_ddmmyy or Personalnummer_Lastname_Category_dd.mm.yyyy or Personalnummer___Catego
Principles of great feedback Regular feedback is essential to keep us motivated, on track with our performance and to drive our development. How does it do this? Regular feedback can help us increase our levels of self-awareness and uncover any blind spots we may have about our own performance. Positive feedback is motivational; it reinforces the skills and behaviours that we do well and ensures that we continue to build on them. Developmental feedback can also be motivational; it enables us to see where we may have skill or behaviour gaps and inspires us to work out how to make the improvements. DO’s & DON'Ts when giving feedback PerceptionPeople won’t accept feedback if they don’t believe it to be true or accurate. If they don’t accept it, what’s the point? Why don’t they believe it to be true? Because they perceive the situation differently to you. We can be looking at the same thing as someone else and see something completely different. In order to avoid this from happening, yo
