In order to block an absence period for all of your employees, you can upload an absence period either for the Absence type you have created for paid vacation, or for a new Absence type.
If the upload is undertaken for the vacation Absence type, then the entitlement of your employees will be reduced. If this is not intended, then you can create a new Absence type for example Company holidays and upload the period for all of your employees.
Don’t forget to grant Access rights to your employees, if you decide to create a new Absence type.
