Employee wants to manage future holidays

Hi Community,

One of our employees will be switched to a permanent contract in February and get more holidays.

He would like to start planning now, is there a way for us to display future holidays in personio now already, so he can manage them?

Thank you

Dear @fZahlbaum,

Welcome to the Personio Community, we are very happy to see you here 🥳.

If your employee’s holidays will be increased by the 1st of February, they will not be able to see this entitlement reflected on their absence balance until that day. However, they can already request future vacation days even if they would exceed their current entitlement. On the 1st of February, Personio will calculate the absence balance again and the absence balance will be updated.

Let me know if this info was helpful, or if there is anything else I can support you with.

Best,

Andrea
