Hello,
We would like to know specifically for a number of employees and on a specific period, which days were taken and when the approval was given by the manager. Is it possible to retrieve in any way the date of approval?

In regards the days that were taken on a specific period, you can create a Custom report for it where you can select the type of report as Timeframe, you can pick a custom date and add all the absence types with the word Periods and, in this way, you will have the days. For more information about this topic, you can visit our Help Center article: Create custom reports.
To know when the approval was given by the manager you can do an Export of Company Data. However, please be aware that, all data is anonymised, so you have to use the Employee IDs to find which person approved or the employee who took the days. Employee IDs can easily be found in the URL when visiting the Employee profile, as shown here:
