Hi, as you can see from below screenshot, even when I choose no public holiday from the drop down list, there is still one calendar appears in employee’s calendar, how can I remove that? I checked in the office setting, there is one office type in there called remote, which has holiday type: ‘Norway public holidays (from company)’. I can not remove it even no employee is assigned to that office type.

Hello,

The calendar will show the public holidays that are assigned to you, even if you unselect them, they just won’t show the other public holidays.

When deleting an office you need to ensure there is no one who is inactive who is assigned to it. If you hover over the 0 it should tell you how many inactive people are assigned as they are not included in the display number.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Kasey Shen,

The reason you cannot delete the “Remote” Office is probably because there are Inactive employees assigned to that Office. You will need to remove them by going to the Employee list and filtering by Inactive Status and the “Remote” Office. Once you have removed these Inactive employees, you will be able to delete the Office and you should no longer see the Public holiday days displayed on the Absence calendar

As you can see from my example below, even though the Office shows 0 employees, when I hover over the Delete icon, it cannot be deleted because it still contains employees/open positions.

For further information, please see this Help Center article:

I hope this is helpful! 😀

Best,

Steve

Hi @Steve @People Person ,

Thanks for your explanation. Regarding the office removal, I hover over the 0, it shows 0 active employees, 0 total, which means I don’t have any inactivate users assign to this office type I assume. I also check the inactivate employees in the employee list, I found the same result.

Regards,

Kasey

Hi @Kasey Shen, @People Person,

Thanks for your input!

In that case, if you are able to delete the Office, I would recommend doing so as that should then solve your problem with the Public holidays on the Absence calendar.

If after taking these steps, you are still facing the issue, I would suggest you create a support request via Help & Feedback.
