In our current setup we see annual leave available, taken and planned.
Planned only shows if it has been approved already but not when it is just requested.
Can I see that anywhere?
I e. an extra line of requested leaves.
Just so that the employee sees how much leave he can still request should the already requested go through.

Unfortunately, within the Absence tab it would not be possible to define the number of holidays requested by the employee (not yet approved). However, your employees can see those directly into their Absence calendar and by navigating to their Dashboard in “My Open requests” section:
