Considering that public holidays specific to one location won't appear for employees in other locations, nor will it be apparent when a team member is out of the office (OOO) due to a public holiday in their location, is there an option to collectively request public holidays somehow? The purpose here is to have visibility that a person is OOO due to a public holiday and to avoid submitting a separate request each time a public holiday approaches.

There isn’t an option on Personio to collectively request public holidays, but what you can do as a workaround is create an absence type to highlight public holidays.
After this you can then use our bulk absence period import and put in all the public holiday absences for your employees in one go. This means now that the absence type will be visible to other employees within your company (Just make sure to give access rights via Settings > Employee roles > Calendars)
