Hey there HR rockstars and people enthusiast!
It’s mid-week (and no one really like Wednesdays ) So let’s grab some coffee and chats about some serious (and not-so-serious) discussions about the wild world of workplace wonders.
Who's got a hilarious office story to share or a mind-blowing meeting that had left you questioning reality?
I’ll go first!
At my first intern job, back in 2010, I was given a tasks to call the clients of the company and ask them to confirm their data details such as emails, changes in their management and local addresses so we could update our data base.
As I was on the phone with them, they will spell for me their email addresses by using the phonetic alphabet (a full word to describe a letter such as “O for Oscar, C, for Charlie” etc etc.. )However, I had no idea that people would use that method to spell words…so I was ending up writing an email address which looked like this:
charlieoscarmangoalphabravogolf@xyz.com
Long story short, this was an office joke for a week, but I did learn my lesson.
