in this area you can exchange information and ask questions about the topics Employee Data (implementation step 1) and Offices, Departments and Teams (implementation step 2).

In the employee information you have the ability to set up and manage the employee profile with all relevant employee data that you need in your daily work.

An employee profile is divided into different sections and attributes. Sections combine related attributes. The employee roles (implementation step 8) can be used to manage access rights for created sections.

Locations, departments and teams can be created either by import or manually. The import template for employee data can be found in our Helpcenter

Currency and holidays are configured with the attribute location. In addition, the address of the location is relevant for the advertisement of open positions in recruiting. 

The attribute department defines the full-time weekly hours. This is especially important for the prorated salary calculation for part-time employees and for the FTE value.

The attribute teams offer an additional option of employee grouping to map complex organizational structures in Personio. A detailed explanation can be found here.
