Hi all, I have a total of 3 legal entities, but one of them works completely isolated from the other two so I need to limit the visibility of the list of employees so:

  1. the people working on Employer1 cannot see the people working on Employer 2 and 3, but
  2. the people working on Employer 2 and 3 can see each other, but not see the people on Employer 1.

How can i manage this? Thanks!!

Hi @JuanConren,

Employees see only the other employees in the org chart for which they have access to for the public profile. In this case you can create two separate employee roles.

Employee Role A: for people working on Employer1 cannot see the people working on Employer 2 and 3.
Employee Role B: for people working on Employer 2 and 3 can see each other, but not see the people on Employer 1.

Step 1: Go to Settings > Employee roles > Employee role All employees  >  Access rights > Public profile > Uncheck the box: All.

Step 2: Create two new Employee roles.

Add all employees that belong to Employee role A there as member. Add all employees that belong to Employee role B there as member.

Step 2: Settings > Employee roles > Employee role A >  Access rights > Public profile > Custom: Legal Entity is: select here the Legal entity that they belong to.

Step 3: Step 2: Settings > Employee roles > Employee role B >  Access rights > Public profile > Custom: Legal Entity is not: select here the Legal entity that they are not allowed to see.

Here you will find more information regarding: The Org Chart.

Best,

Sofia

Hi @Sofia Vinueza, thank you for your reply.

I have followed all the steps and there is still possible to access to the employee list. In fact, I already had the limitation stablished in the default employee role so none of the employees could access the Org.Chart, but regardless of this limitation they all can see each other clicking on the “Employees”>”List of employees” as well as when checking “Celendars” so they all can visualize the days off, etc, for all.

Hi @JuanConren,

Did you uncheck the box: All in Public profile of the Employee role All employees?
Go to Settings > Employee roles > Employee role All employees  >  Access rights > Public profile > Uncheck the box: All.

Also is the legal name in the section Public profile? What are the attributes that you are able to see in the Employee list when logging in as this employee?

In this case, I would suggest you to create a support request via Help & Feedback. My colleagues from the support team will be able to look within your settings.

Be aware that only Account owners can contact our support team. In case you are not registered as such, please contact your colleagues in the role, or add this information in your account. You can find out how here.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can support you with.

I wish you a lovely day.

Best,

Sofia
