I can’t seem to find a way to get a notification when a new document is CREATED from a template - only when it is uploaded. This is frustrating as we are trying to move all our HR related documents onto Personio, but some need approvals and I can’t work out how to set this up. I have created a template to request holiday purchase………. There are no available triggers for this in the workflow area, nor the approvals area.

As you well mentioned, this functionality you have requested is not currently available in Personio.
I can understand why and how getting a notification when a Document is created would be useful, and I would like to encourage you to post this suggestion of improvement in our ideation area. This way, other users will be able to vote for it, and the suggestion will be shared with our product team.
