Dear Community,

I have the following issue and our inofficial DATEV expert (our external tax advisor) cannot help me, so wondering if someone knows a workaround in DATEV or if it is something we have to accept and live with:

  • Our tax advisor shortens our official, contractual position titles so that they fall within the 30 character limit in DATEV
  • Ideally we’d like a way to keep Personio as a single-source of truth with the position titles and details exactly as they are in the contracts.

Has anyone dealt with this issue? Are there workarounds on the interface between Personio/DATEV or even settings in DATEV that could be changed?

I checked internally with our specialists and unfortunately there is no possibility to lengthen the character limit. This is unfortunately a well known limitation in regards to this integration, however could I kindly ask that you post this feedback into our Ideation Area in order to give visibility of this to Product.
