Placeholders to be completed by signatory in created document template

Hi, I want to add a placeholder to be completed by signatory (and not by HR) in a created document template.

It’s basically adding a YES / NO option and signatory must complete the information before e-signing the document. It does not work with custom placeholders or free placholders as these are completed by HR

Any help on this is highly appreciated thank you

Hi L. Sauvage,

Is it a requirement to see that there was a choice within the document ?

Otherwise we found a workaround using the onboarding template. Before sending a document for signature, we are requesting the employee to complete some custom attributes and we are making it mandatory to go to the next step.
Then HR can still send a document to signature based on a template that is using this custom attributes.

For example, if you need to ask your employees if they are allowing the company to post pictures taken at some event, you can still have a custom attribute with a list of options “yes” or “no”.

Let me know if you need more details,
Nathan

Hi @L Sauvage,

Unfortunately we don’t have this option. A possible workaround is to use the Designation City placeholder, the signatory will be able to fill in Yes or No instead of a City.
