Hi,

At our company we use notes for evaluations of our employees. These are always visible for the employee as well.

Is it possible to also add notes which are not visible for the employees? But only for the managers for example?

If you use the Performance and Development module, it is possible to create ‘Employee Notes’ which are never visible to the employee.

Hello,

If you are not using the P&D module, you can also leave notes, and decide that Employee can not see them.
For that, create an Employee Role, and leave the “Employee Note” ’s Access Rights blank.

Then create another role, called “Supervisor” for instance, for which you can give Edit rights for Employee Notes.

I hope it helps,

Cheers,

Nathan

@Nathan Jolly I guess this would mean that all notes are private? I'm looking for a way where we can some notes visible for employees and some not. Could that also work?

Hi @HRJoy Thanks! The same question as asked above, is it then possible to create some notes visible for employees while others are not? Could you maybe explain how? Thank you!

@developyourskills  - you could continue to use the ‘Notes’ function (in the employee profile, rather than in the Performance and Development module) for notes that are to be shared with the employee. You’ll just need to make sure the permissions are correct for the Supervisor and the Employee to both be able to see these.

Alternatively, to keep all notes/feedback/evaluations within P&D module, the line manager can use a simple ‘continuous feedback’ form, which will be shared with the employee.
