Hi,

could you please help me find out how to provide Supervisors with the right not only to upload documents for their direct reports, but also to create one?

I want Supervisors to create reference letter for the employees themselves.

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

In order to allow them to upload documents, you need to give them ‘propose’ access for their direct reports for each of the document categories.

In order to give them the rights to use templates, this would be the ‘edit’ access rights. However, I do not recommend this as you cannot choose individual templates to give them access to, it is all or nothing. So if you have other templates ie salary uplift, change in working hours ect, the supervisors would be able to create those.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Thanks!

Hi Zoe,

thank you for your quick input! I looked into the Employee Roles and Access rights and I’ve just found in Access rights that you can choose to give the Edit rights specifically for Reference letter. So maybe that’s the solution I was looking for :)
