Sending forms to an employee that is offboarding

Hey all,

When we have an employee that is leaving the company we send out a few forms for them to sign to confirm that they have returned their equipment/tag etc. Right now we can only send it to the person and it automatically goes to their work mail, but often the leaving employee is no longer working and has nog access to their laptop/mail. So we want to send the forms to their personal mail, is that something we can do with a work around or does this need to be added by Personio?

Thanks!

Hi @Lucv3l

I’m glad to tell you that this is a feature that has been added to Personio with thanks to an idea submitted by another member in the Community. 😀 Here you can see the full post with responses: Onboarding / Offboarding Emails for external partners/employees

To create this Offboarding step, go to Settings > Workflows > On-/Offboarding > Offboarding steps. Give it a name in New step…, select Email action as the type and click the plus (+) to add it. In the Recipient field, select External email address. You can add the forms by clicking Attach document… Complete the remaining fields and click Save changes.

Now, you can send the email to the employees’ personal email addresses as part of your Offboarding process. 🙂

Thanks for your question, and let me know if you have any further queries.

Best,

Steve
