Hi all,

the reminder function is super, but what happens when an HR employee set up individual reminders and that person is leaving the company. Is it possible to have a substitute for these reminders, e.g. they will automatically move to the supervisor?

Example: Employee is leaving for maternity leave and requested parental leave of 2 years, with the option to return in parental part-time before the two years are up. The HR employee has now set-up an individual reminder, but is leaving the company after half a year. Will these reminders be “lost”?

It would be great to have something in please like the groups in the Onboarding and Offboarding Templates.

If someone is taking over Reminders, in this case the employee that is taking over the Reminders will have to setup same Reminders in their Personal Settings.

  1. Click your name in the bottom left-hand corner and then Personal Settings > Reminders.
  2. Click Add a personal reminder.
  3. Fill out the information in the drawer as you would for a role-specific reminder.
  4. Click Add.

Another possibility is to setup this Reminder for an Employee Role, add as a member the person that originally should receive the Reminder and add also as member the person that will be substituting this person in case of Absence.

thank you for your reply. So there is no automatic way to transfer reminders to another person? The person who is newly responsible for that individual employee needs to receive the information separately (e.g. in a hand-over) and set-up the reminder themselve in their profile?

The reminder function within the employee role is unfortunately not an option for the case described above.

Unfortunately there is no option to transfer in an automatic way Reminders

I’ve looked for similar ideas in our ideation area , but couldn’t find one yet.
