Why terminated employees are included in employee reports?

Hello!

We have terminated some employments in the system. We want to keep the former colleagues in the system (not completely delete the profiles), so we can see historical data.

But the inactive employees whose employments have been terminated still show up in our employee reports.

Would you be able to help us with this?

Many thanks.

Hey @anna_kal

Welcome to the Personio Community, we are thrilled to see you here 🎊 🥳. I am happy to support you with your inquiry.

The reason I believe they are showing up in your reports is because the filter of Status equals Active only works specifically for point in time reports. The reason being is that if within the time period you have chosen, the employee was Active at any point then they will show.

Even though they are now Inactive, therefore if you want for the Status equals Active to work exactly as you desired and to not show any Inactive employees, then please use the point in time type of report.

For more information on this, please refer to our guide below:

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Best regards,

Conor
