Hello,

I hope this is the right place to reach out to.

I am looking to revise our current admin and employee roles and have restricted, team-wise access for people within the HR and Finance Department.

Is this possible?

Hi @aarya,

Great that you are a part of the Personio Community, welcome! 🎉

Yes, it is possible to make respective changes in the Employee Roles.

  1. In your case, you need to create an additional employee role for the teams you want to revise the access rights.
  2. In a second step, you can adopt the employee role, so it fits to the access right you would like to assign to the employees.
  3. In a last step, you need to assign the employee roles to the employees.

Make sure the employees aren’t assigned to any other employee role with extended access rights you don’t want to provide to them

You can find details on how to create Employee Roles in this article: Set up employee roles and access rights

If there is any additional question, feel free to ask it in the comments!

Best wishes,
Marc
