Hi Personio Community,

I need assistance setting up access rights for a manager in Personio. Here's the situation:

  1. Team Visibility: I would like the manager to see all employees in the system but have additional visibility over employees specifically assigned to their team. How can I configure this in Personio?

  2. Access Rights: What specific access rights should I assign to this "Team Manager" role to ensure they can view and manage the absence and attendance calendars of their assigned team members?

Any detailed guidance or tips from your experience would be greatly appreciated!

With regards to the manager visibility, you just need to take it section by section, decide which sections you want them to see for ‘all’ and which they should only see for ‘reports’ 

 

For absences you want to look in the ‘absence’ part of the access rights for the role and give them proposal rights for their reports each absence type you want them to be able to request. I would not suggest giving edit rights, as then they will be able to skip approval workflows which could end in things being missed.
