Hi, we have someone in our company who needs access to the ‘reports’ function for certain areas of their job (allergens, absences, etc.), but they shouldn’t be allowed to see other people’s salaries. Is there any way for specific reports to be hidden from general ‘reports’ view, or for limited access to the reports tab?

Hi @avmar99

Thanks for posting in our community 😊

To provide access to just some reports, you could use the Sharing Options window. The current access rights logic for custom reports only allows for access to all or no reports. However, the Sharing Options feature enables you to share single custom reports with internal stakeholders without providing access to all other reports.

This means that even if the report contains data the employee would usually not be entitled to see as per their role, they will be able to see it in the shared report 🕵🏻

Follow these steps to share a custom report via the Sharing Options window:

• Go to Reports > Custom Reports > Any report] > Sharing options.
      • Enter the name of the employee you want to share the report with.

• Click on the search result. The employee will then be added to the Sharing options window. You can repeat this process as many times as needed.
  • If needed, select Remove access in the dropdown of each employee to remove their access to the report.
• Click on Save changes to effectively share the custom report with the employees listed in the Sharing options window.

I hope this helps.

Have a great day,

Fernanda
