Hi,

I have a HR administrator and need to restrict her access to the senior teams’ details.  I can’t see how to do that - can anyone advise please?

thanks

Hi @Customer123,

You’d have to be an admin yourself to do that:

  • Go to settings - People - Employee Roles
  • Within the Administrator Role, you can edit members
  • And then add them to the senior’s team role

Alternatively you can do this also directly on their profile within the roles section.

Hi @SabbuSchreiber

I’m a little confused - if I go into the Administrator’s role I seem to be only able to exclude the Senior Team for every administrator and not just one

Am I missing something?

Is there maybe a conditioned assignment for the role?

As I don’t know how it’s currently set up on your end I don’t know how else to help you. Maybe you can share some screenshots? Or, open a ticket directly to Personio?

How do I open a ticket directly please?

Hi, I think you will need to set up your restricted administrator with another Personio role, copy across the permissions from the Admin role & then restrict her from specific people or team - you can do this in the permissions

Thanks Fiona - I’m new to Personio!  How do you restrict her from specific people?  That’s the bit I’m struggling with I think

This was a bit trial & error for me at the time! We wanted to restrict our IT Administrator from seeing data but needed them to know when a new starter joined. I used the custom option in the view permission & then set it to only apply to people who were onboarding. I think you can edit this to specific employee IDs or email addresses, probably also a specific team if these all belong to a team.

Hope this helps!
