Sending A Message to Employee After Approval (Accepted or Not Accepted)

Hello,

When we do not approve a vacation request we would like to be able to send a message to the person who sent the request explaining why we did not accept the request. Is there a way to do this in Personio? Or any suggested workarounds (even if it is not attached directly to the Approval feature)?

Hey @WorkingAWB 

At the moment there is no functionality that would allow for a comment to be provided when an absence is rejected. Instead the employee will be told via email that their absence has been rejected, but no reason for this:

 

 

 

Therefore you will need to use communication outside of Personio to explain the reasoning behind the declined absence. We have already had other customers highlight this to us within our Ideation Area, so could I kindly ask that you upvote and comment on this idea to give it further visibility.
