I suppose the ideal is not to let morale get low to begin with.

Like all elements of heath and wellbeing you can’t ‘binge’ your way to good health.

Nuturing and then Sustaining high morale is a continous ‘investment’ - like brushing your teeth, you do it regularly for a few minutes each day rather than for 30mins at the weekend.

So although a ‘pizza party’ might help - it won’t last the rest of the week/month.

so having lots of little ‘pick-me-up’s is what you need.

This might be the daily GIF in the company teams/slack or joke of the day etc.

Something small that isn’t too much effort but lifts the mood each day.

Absolutely @JHBEM  :) you hit the nail in the head!

Maintaining high morale is an ongoing process akin to taking care of physical health. Waiting for occasional morale boosts won't sustain a positive workplace atmosphere.

Recognising and appreciating the team, transparent communication, acts of kindness, team-building, flexibility, professional development, wellness initiatives, feedback, celebrating milestones, and leading by example are key strategies to boost team morale consistently. It's about daily efforts rather than grand gestures.

Happy Wednesday! 😄☕️
