We have employees who are currently on unpaid leave for the month and at their discretion we would like to exclude their absence from being shown on the ‘daily absence’ channel - is there a way that this can be done, without deleting their absence on Personio?

Dear @amouth ,

Welcome to the Personio Community, we are thrilled to see you here 🎊 🥳. I am happy to support you with your inquiry.

Unfortunately there is no functionality to exclude certain absences from the Slack updates. It will pull all day based absences from your Personio account, so one way as you mentioned to stop this would be to remove the absence on Personio.

Alternatively you could edit this absence type to an hour based absence type and this will not pull through to Slack.

I could not see any previous mention of this idea within our Ideation Area, so I would kindly ask that you submit this for consideration by our Product Team.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know😃

Best,

Conor

Hi Team,

As of September 10th, we noticed a different styling of the absences. We haven’t changed anything in the setting and we liked the previous output very much😊

Could you help us with that? Attached, you will also find a screenshot.

Hi @vesna_hr and @DianaR,

We’re actually experiencing this temporary issue with Slack, and our team is already working on a fix!

I hope this helps.

Best,

Valentina 😀
