Company Events Calendar

Hi,

If we create a company ‘Events’ calendar in Microsoft 365, is it currently possible to integrate that calendar with Personio, so that the events appear on the Calendar in Personio?

For example, the Outlook calendar would show things like monthly payday date, whole-company in-person meetings, online employee webinars etc. It would be great if people could see those kind of events on the Absences calendar when they are looking to book annual leave (or any other kind of absence).

I have searched both Help and Community and can’t work out if that is currently possible or not!

Thanks

Hi @HRJoy,

Unfortunately, this function is currently not available in Personio. However, I agree that this idea could be a great improvement for the tool, I would like to encourage you to post this suggestion of improvement in our Ideation area. This way, other users will be able to vote for it, and the suggestion will be shared with our Product Team.

In order for us to fully understand your idea, I share with you a couple of questions that your description should clarify when posting in the Ideation area:

  • What would you like to achieve with Personio? What issue do you need to solve?

  • Why? What would be the added value for you?

  • How are you solving it right now?

The more details, the better! However, remember not to share any personal or business data with the public.

Make sure to add the link to the idea in this thread, so that other users that find your question can upvote it.💪

Thank you in advance for sharing your ideas with us 🙌🏽.

Best,

Steve

It would be great if the Personio API could be extended to cover this.

At present, it only provides API endpoints for adding employee time-offs - there’s no way to add events to the Global calendar.

Using tools like Make, you could then interface 1000’s of other sources into the Global calendar.

Thanks, I’ve added the idea to Ideation:
