Dear Community,

Almost one year ago we launched the Personio Marketplace and we would like to celebrate with you! 🎉

 

What have we achieved this year?

  • Around 70 new integrations were added.
  • One team responsible for this became three and we added 13 new Personios (Personio employees) who wholly focus on integrations.
  • We released the first integrations we built ourselves from scratch (Slack, MS Teams, Greenhouse, Azure AD, ...).
  • The team actively supported the launch of People Workflow Automation.
  • ...and much more!

So how would we like to celebrate with you?

We've thought to dedicate the whole month of February to the topic of integrations in the Personio Community: Every week we will share questions about integrations with you, on which we would like to collect your opinions and experiences.

On Tuesday, 1st of February 2022 we will start with the first post. Stay tuned!

@Astrid, @Daniele, @Marc, @Lena and I can’t wait to read your thoughts and feedback about our Integrations & APIs! 

To be honest, after having a deeper look most integrations I am disappointed by their features. It seems personio is more interested in get more extensions into the store quickly to have big numbers for marketing. But many extensions are very basic, not very well concepted for real life use cases. Best example: MS Teams App. Only feature is to put in absences in Teams, there could be so much more done with this integration, but no.

Same for the calendar integrations (only interviews are synced, no other things like performance talks, birthdays, new starters, public holidays,... ) , the Azure ad integration and many others.

We understand, that a lot of the current integrations are still very limited in their functionality. Reason is, that our Public API only offers a few endpoints and the functionality needs to be extended before our partners have the option of transferring more data between Personio and their systems.

The team is already working on our API 2.0 and we are aiming on releasing it in H2. Also, there is work being done on an integrations platform for our in-house built integrations. So your feedback will definitely be taken into account when going forward!
