Hello Personio Community,

We’re seeking advice on exporting historical FTE data from Personio for use in our reporting processes. From what we’ve gathered, there seem to be three potential approaches:

  1. Integration – Provides real-time data, but we need monthly historical values.
  2. API Calls – Grants access to custom reports for FTE, but replicating this report is complex and doesn’t always deliver reliable or accurate results.
  3. System Report for FTE – This works perfectly for us, and we are very happy with its accuracy. However, the only way to access it is through manual export, which isn’t a maintainable enterprise solution.

We would greatly appreciate your insights on how to achieve our goal or how other companies have tackled this challenge.

We’re open to considering paid solutions if necessary.

Currently, our Custom Reports API allows for the retrieval of data from custom reports. System reports are not accessible at this point in time.

In this instance, I would deem a custom report to be the best choice.

Additionally, you could contact your Account Manager via the subscription page in Personio to request paid assistance from our Professional Services Team. They may enable you to get an even better solution than our custom reports.
