Hi !

I'm facing an issue where our CTO is receiving tasks to approve holiday requests for employees who are not assigned to him. These employees have their own supervisors, who are correctly assigned in the system. I've set the workflow for absence approval to be handled by their direct supervisors. However, the CTO, who is not even part of this pillar or department, keeps getting these approval tasks.

I have double-checked the organizational chart and the assignments, and everything seems to be set up correctly. The CTO shouldn't be involved in this process at all. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue, or could there be something I’m missing in the workflow or org chart configuration?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Best regards,
Anna

Hello!

Without being able to see what your approval flows look like, I would be unable to tell if that is the issue. If you’re happy to send a screenshot I could take a look?

The only thought I have is if the delegation is turned on, meaning if the person’s supervisor is absent and unable to approve, their supervisor is sent the request.

Here is a screen shoot:

The delegation is turned on- but the approval is sending all the time to CTO, no matter if the supervisor is available or not.

Hi, It looks as though everything is set up correctly, I would raise a ticket with support to get this resolved :)

Thank you!

Hi @AnnaCzarnik,
