Hi there,

Is it possible to set up an onboarding step with an e-signature request? Our company has the correct settings in place for e-signatures, but it would make onboarding much smoother if we could incorporate this tool in the required documents step.

If so, what steps need to be taken to implement this?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @jwilliams79 ,

Currently, it’s not automated. Meaning that there is not a dedicated step where the employee will have to click on a button to sign a document.

But there is a workaround we are using at Enko, my current company :

I have created a step in the Onboarding where HR is responsible. HR representative needs to create a document and send it to signature. Everything is detailed on how to do it within Personio.

Then, the employee also has a task to complete, saying that he/she should have received a document to sign within his/her email.

Both step has to be completed in the onboarding to proceed to the next steps.

Hope this is helping,

Cheers,

Nathan
