I have an onboarding workflow for the new employee complete their profile, once it is completed I want to send them an email saying Profile is complete and some details of the next steps.

 

So when the Profile is completed the next step is set as the following:

 

 

But the email never arrives.  Is there a reason why or have I done something wrong.

 

You assistance would be much appricated.

If you are asking the new employee to complete their Personio profile prior to their hire date, do you maybe have issues with SSO/having access to a work email address?

Or are you using the new employee’s personal email address for their Personio profile until they join?


@HRJoy yes we are using their personal email up until the day they join.  Other emails are sending to them it’s just this one won’t send/never arrives.

 

The email address on the test account I’m running it on is a gmail address see below.

Hmm. The only reason I can see that this wouldn’t work is some kind of SSO/authentication issue.


@HRJoy I don’t believe so because the external email address is getting emails at different stages of the onboarding.  I think it’s not recognising that the previous stage is completed and not sending the email.

But I do not know how to check this.

I would contact Personio Support, as it should normally work.

Hi ​@kavanelli, I’d also go over Personio support for this but if you can, please share the outcome here. I’m interested in this as well although we do use Google SSO for login so I think that’s actually the issue for our end. 😊
