Hello!

We use the Slack Integration to post birthdays on our #personio slack channel. One employee does not want his birthday shared company wide.

Since the birthday is a personal date, we must obtain explicit consent from the employee due to the GDPR. If this consent is not available, we are also not allowed to share the birthday in Slack.

Unfortunately, the Slack integration does not offer sufficient control options to exclude individual employees or groups from the Slack integration.

To date, only departments, teams, and locations can be used as a selector inside the Slack integration. I recommend expanding this selection to include more personnel data fields.
