I want to export my calendar of absences and working mobile such that I can subscribe to it in my personal google calendar. This is straight forward and simple, when I do that for the absences of my team, so going through the subscribe popup and selecting as shown in the first screenshot. This works and I have the absences of my team and myself in my private calendar. However, this is not what I want. I just want to have mine. But when you select only My Calendar and then the team and the like, then the linked calendar is empty.
I have also tried not specifying Legal Entity, Department, and Team and only selecting My Calendar, as well as selecting My Calendar, Absences and Mobiles Arbeiten (working mobile). All to the same result the calendar behind the generated link is empty.

So IMHO, this looks to me like a bug, but maybe someone has figured out a workaround. Thanks in advance.

Hi @Leo,

With the iCal link you can see all your colleagues’ absences. You can refine the absences included in the iCal calendar based on Legal entityDepartment, Team or Office. However, you don’t have the option to only see your own absences. For this, you will need to use the Calendar integration for absences. The integration transfers absences recorded in Personio to your employees' personal calendars. For more information on this, please see our Help Center article:

I hope this information is helpful! 😀

Best,

Steve

@Steve: In that case could you please clarify the purpose of the “My Calendar” option on the “iCal calendar subscribe” panel?

Having this option present and the respective calendar being empty serves no purpose but confuses users.  Like the original poster I have fiddled around with the settings in this panel just to give up in frustration eventually.  I don’t think I can be blamed for assuming that trying to export “My Calendar” would result in… well, my calendar (https://company.personio.com/calendar/me/monthly).

If the iCal link for “My Calendar” always results in an empty calendar then this option should be removed from the UI.
