Hello,

I’m completely new to Personio and am managing the migration from our self-built Airtable-HR tool to Personio.

I’v setup a Zap between Personio and Airtable. Now, when running it I’m receiving the following error from Zapier: “File name extension is not valid” (see below). However, I’m not syncing any files between our Airtable base and Personio.

As you can see the field for “File” is left empty and it’s not mandatory. Why is the Zap trying to sync this field regardless?

I appreciate any help with this. Thank you!

If you’re not able to find a solution with Zapier, you might want to try Make instead.

Make has apps for both Personio and Airtable (and over 2,200 more).

The Free plan with Make gives you 1,000 operations per month, which might be enough for your migration exercise.

If you need help, the Make Academy and Make Community are great sources.

thanks, Make is great, but also a lot more complex. Do you know somebody that could help in the setup?

It’s capable of more complexity, but shouldn’t be significantly harder to set up.

If you’re looking for paid assistance, you can search in the Make Partner Directory.

If you need free assistance, then I’d suggest you set up your Make Free plan and then post in the Make Community with details of exactly what you’re trying to achieve.
