Hello,

We have a few inactive employees who have left the business. Their line manager is still receiving reminder notifications to approve things and that there are points to action.

Is there a way to auto close those off once they have left?

Many Thanks

Hii @Circus2012

Thanks for the clarification! 😊

In this case, I would suggest you create a support request via Help & Feedback.

Help & Feedback > Browse for help > Contact us

This ensures we can get access to your account and see exactly why they are getting certain notifications and if necessarily check if this is a system error or an expecting behaviour based on your current set up.

Have a lovely day! ☀️

Hello

The below don’t auto resolve when someone leaves so would need manually closing off:

-Performance cycles

-Onboarding/Offboarding workflows.

Absence workflows should close themselves off from my experience.

Hey @Circus2012

Inactive employees should not receive any kind of notification from Personio. Once the Status is changed to Inactive, the notifications are automatically unable for those employees.

If this is happening I would suggest you create a support request via Help & FeedbackThis way our support team can check the settings on your account to find out why this is happening.

Help & Feedback > Browse for help > Contact us

Be aware that only Account Owners can contact our Support team. In case you are not registered as such, please contact your colleagues in the role, or add this information to your account. You can find out how here.

I wish you a lovely day ☀️

Best,

Fernanda

Hello,

It is not the employee who has left but the manager of the employee who has left that is receiving notifications. Is there functionality that would allow those to be automatically stopped once an employee becomes inactive?

Many thanks

Hi again @Circus2012

Oops sorry for the confusion here 😅

Depending on the type of notifications managers are getting, this could be an expected behaviour.

If these are coming from

  • on-off boarding steps - It is normal and manual action must be taken.
  • P&G - normal

Feel free to get back to me if you have more questions in regards to this 😊

Best

Hello,

Thanks for the message. It was nothing to do with offboarding and actually was related to a sickness absence a month prior.

Once someone has been made inactive I want the ability to turn off all notifications except those relating to off boarding really.

Many thanks
