Hi everyone,

We’re currently using the Performance Review feature in Personio for our annual appraisals. The process works well with two steps:

  1. Self-Review (completed by the appraisee)

  2. Manager Review (completed by the appraiser)

However, we’ve noticed there’s no final step for the appraisee to acknowledge or confirm the manager’s comments once the review has been shared.

We’d like the appraisee to be able to validate or sign off on the appraisal before it’s officially closed.

Does anyone know if:

  • It’s possible to add a third “Acknowledgement” step in the workflow?

  • Or if there’s a recommended workaround (e.g. a confirmation field, comment box, or setting)?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Best,
Maxime Theler

Hi @Karbinator !

Just tagging @andra.enache and @vesna_hr as they might be able to help!

Hi Maxime,

I’m afraid there isn’t really a workaround, as the manager’s feedback is final, especially now that the performance rating has been set. What I usually do in my company is ask managers to share their draft with their direct report before submitting it on the platform. This way, they can make sure the feedback accurately reflects what was discussed in the review meeting and gives the direct report a chance to add anything they feel is missing.

Thank you very much for your reply, I will check with our Personio contact if there is any way they can add this step in the workflow.

What I did was to add a question in the manager form stating something like this: please confirm you’ve shared this with your team member before uploading it on Personio.
