Good morning and Happy Monday, folks!

Welcome to the first day of our latest Ask Me Anything event. This time around, we’re taking on the Recruiting module. To help us answer all of your questions in this regard is my colleague @Nino, who is our Product Manager overseeing this part of Personio. 🤩

A quick reminder on how we’re doing this

From today until Friday, October 17th, we’ll leave this topic open so that community members can ask their questions related to each AMA’s theme in the comments. You’ll have until 4pm GMT this Friday to ask your questions.

I’ll kick things off and tag some folks to get us going!

Is there a way to anonymize or set up a no reply email for candidates?
Thanks!

Good morning @EceA

There is no way to set up the no reply email for candidates unfortunately.

What do you mean by the anonymize? candidates or the emails?

For the emails - we don’t have this either. For candidates - yes, you can manually do so or set up the N of days in the setting, when candidates should be annonymized

Thank you for your answer. Yes, I meant for anonymous emails to be sent to candidates, like 'no-reply' ones which they cannot reply back. It would be great to have this function in future.

In the meantime, I have another question: I would like certain applications to be invisible to some members of the hiring team. Is it possible to change the access rights for one application without affecting the entire funnel?

@EceA you will be able to add a new person to have an access to the specific application only by clicking on the “add employee”, but you won’t be able to remove member from the hiring team only for that specific applications 😊

Hey @fmason, sorry to hear about your experience with integrations! On the brighter side - we are soon finalizing a new feature that will allow you to  search for candidates using any system or custom attribute present in the candidate profile. I think that will be helpful for your needs 🙏🏼

to clarify @Nino do you mean just in the section called profile or across the information for a given candidate?

As the initial release it will be for all attributes in the section called profile, We will be working towars extending the search to all the information related to applications

@Moe

Hey, i love this ask me anything feature but i do find the format a bit tricky to follow, is there anyway that the content could be collated and sent out to those on the chat in a clearer more structured format?

TY in advance

I can certainly work on this and get that together once the AMA closes today!

Hi!

I have a couple of questions:

1. I faced an issue with the interviewers. For some of them we’d like them to see the candidate’s CV and be able to write the comment without seeing the candidate's salary expectations, for instance. But when I set the role as “interviewer” they told me that they weren’t able to write the comments. Only when I change their role as a “recruiter” - they can. Is that so?

2. Is it possible to avoid the replies from the candidates, who have multiple applications, going straight to “unassigned messages”. We’re constantly losing their letters in the bunch of unassigned letters.

3. When I set in a position setting in “Application form fields” “Gender” as required (as well as in the general recruiting settings), I don’t see it among required fields on our web page application form. How to fix it?

We need this statistics for diversity and inclusion reports

4. Will it be possible one day just to reply to the Unassigned message (like constant spam letters with promotions or from recruiting agencies) without creating an application?

Thanks!
