Hi @International Support Team , I’ve reached out to support and have been advised as that autoposting remote jobs is not possible. The only option is to post roles with the word remote in the title. Roles will not appear in candidate search though to see the word remote in the title.

Is this a new issue at Personio?

Thanks

Hey @Volvic

I reached out to the Recruiting team on this matter and what they let me know is that LinkedIn have become quite picky when it comes to location details for job postings. They want a precise location, zip code and all which makes it difficult for remote positions. The only workaround we can offer is to input the remote location within the title of your job position (example > IT Specialist - Remote). I do not believe that this was always the case with autoposting, however as this process is based on LinkedIn’s requirements then our hands are tied in regards to workarounds.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

Have a great start to your week ☘️

Best,

Conor

Thanks Conor, yes seems that posting remote jobs isn’t possible anymore at all via autoposting.

Hey @Volvic

I would agree that it has become a little more difficult to post remote jobs and that workarounds are needed. This is unfortunately due to the various job board requirements that are out of our hands. As mentioned, LinkedIn are now adamant that they want a definitive location for the job position, even if the job is fully remote. For this reason, we need to enter a postcode and country of the headquarters office. You will also need to include that the job position is fully remote in the title to give further visibility to it. I understand this is not ideal, but it is unfortunately all we can offer at this time.

If I can help with anything else, please let me know.

Best,

Conor
